ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift. We'll look to you to help our Occupational Therapist work with patients to help them overcome challenges they encounter during their daily activities. As part of your wide range of responsibilities, you'll plan, implement and evaluate group and individual treatment programmes for patients. We'll rely on you to promote or maintain the physical capabilities and independence of each patient you work with, and record interactions and observations when appropriate. ABOUT YOU
To join us as an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you'll need a Level 2 NVQ related to care or promoting independence, and be willing to work towards a Level 3 NVQ or Level 2 QCF in Healthcare as you work with us. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift. You will also support with the administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessment, and liaising with GP's, district nursing teams and resident family members. Like everyone here, as a Residential Senior Care Assistant, you'll always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents as well playing your own part in creating an environment that's warm, welcoming and vibrant.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Residential Senior Care Assistant. This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve. We'll look to you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with range of physical and mental needs, whilst also relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions. You can expect a wide range of responsibilities, from developing tailored care plans to providing medicine safely and delivering excellence across everything you do. As a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN), you'll have the autonomy to do things the right way and be truly valued and respected for what you do.
